30 places are available for students.
The selection of the students will be based on their academic performance found in the transcript of records, on the curriculum vitae, on the reasons expressed by the candidates in their motivational letter and on the English level.
If not native English speakers, participants are required to be able to master the language at least at a level B2, according to the Common European Framework of Reference through a certification or a self-certification. (This course will be held in English and therefore it is essential that participants have strong English language skills; thus, linguistic proficiency will also be considered during the selection procedure)
The selection will also consider of the geographical origin of the applicants to favor an international dimension of the classroom.
The registration procedure for the selection will start from 6th December 2021 and will end on 11th February 2022 at 12 am (Italy time-zone)
Successful applicants will be notified by email within 15 working days after the deadline.
Within 15 days from the notification of the admission, admitted students must confirm their participation in the Summer School sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org

5. Tax Code (if any) and a front-back copy of a valid identity document
If applicants make false declarations in the registration procedure, according to the Italian law (art. 76 of the Presidential Decree no. 445 December 28, 2000), they will be excluded from the participant list.
Any application received after the deadline of 11th February 2022 will be considered only if there are positions left to reach the maximum number of places available (30 for students).
The course will be activated with a minimum number of 10 participants (5 students and 5 professionals)
Admission to the Summer School is subjected to a positive judgment by the Selection Committee based on the evaluation of the profile from the documents presented for the application.
The minimum score required to achieve eligibility is set at 60 out of 100.
The Selection Committee is appointed by the President of the School of Advanced Studies on Food and Nutrition.
Formation and approval of the ranking list
Only the first 30 candidates in the ranking list will be admitted to the Summer School.
In case of ex-aequo the one with the higher score assigned to the curriculum vitae will be admitted and in case of further parity, the younger candidate.
Thanks to the funding obtained by the Emilia Romagna Region, in the ambit of the three-year higher education projects in the cultural, economic, and technological field pursuant to art. 2 of the regional law n. 25/2018 approved by resolution of the Regional Council n.1251/2019, for the admitted students the participation is free.
